So what does everyone think is going on with this one?

There's a line that starts near the front of his head at the top and follows the top of his head to the rear, and then veers sharply towards the rim.

Although it's hard to see in the photos, the line actually goes down through the B in Liberty, before fading out.

The rim side of the line is lower that the bust side (it drops slightly) and most noticeably, the field on one side of the line is a different texture.

The field on the bust side is much smoother while the field on the rim side is rougher.

Any thoughts?

Looks like the edge of where the die was so over polished, the 'IN' is almost gone. Overpolished, Die Deterioration Doubling, Not a coin to keep. Some coins are just change.

It looks like a severe isdue with Die Deterioration (Very Late Die State coin). The die steel seems to be sinking in.
