I agree with Coop. Not a Doubled Die Obverse. Just a normal coin. At least it's 90 percent Silver!

It was about that year when people started to save rolls of cents. But back then 50 cents was a lot of money. I know my dad mentioned he used to work six days a week for $5. (probably in the 1940's on a farm) When I started working the min wage was $1 per hour. (1965 era)

Coop and I must be nearly the same age. When you could get a large lawn-mow job for $3-5 a week, even with dad paying for the mower and the gas, that was big money.
