new to this site. hope this is right. I was remodeling a home in saint Augustine fl and found this inside the wall. I have a small collection and wondering if I found something cool to add to it. is this a mint error and if so ballpark of what this may be worth. date may be hard to see but its a 1966 sorry for the picture to be so close of the coin just the way I ended up doing it with it having to be under 300kb

Sharper full photos are really necessary. From the mark on the face it's tough to see if it's a plain old damage or something else.

@chevyboion2s, first welcome to CCF. Second, that is a pretty cool story about how you got this coin. The photo uploading can be a little difficult at first, but it is important that we can see what you do with the coin in hand. Right now, I'm only seeing George's profile and the coin looks pretty heavily worn. Please provide us with a little more detail. Thx.

Doesn't look like anything really special, form these pictures at least. You may want to keep it, just for the story.

Doesn't matter specifically about the coin.
I just love the provenance!

Official time capsules often have very common items inside, and there is great (mostly non numismatic) public interest in them, when they are opened on the due date.
