I can't seem to post right everytime I come on. Should I have this penny graded. Any opinions appreciated.

There are different sections of the forum that deal with specific things: for instance it might have been best to post this in the modern coin section. They will probably want to see the reverse of the coin regardless.

Reverse pics are always a good idea, but given the spotting on this example, I think we would all agree that you should not have this graded.

to CCF. Not worth the grading fees.

Only if you want to join the myriads of collectors out there needlessly feed the grading companies their hard earned cash for nothing. You were wise enough to ask first, which puts you a leg up on the masses

Grading is an option that rarely pays what people hope it well. There are a lot of hopefuls sent in where the only people making anything of of it are the grading companies.

While yours is a nice looking coin, a 1963-D is a common date and has to make an exceptional grade for people to be willing to pay much for it. Yours has way to many small hits and dings to be an MS66 which might pay for the grading fee.

Keep asking before sending in. Keep your own money in your own pocket

Yes I agree, it was more advice for posting in the future.

Just judging from one photo I'd say MS-63RD at best. About a .25 coin.

Agree with others, around 63RD and not worth grading.
