It looks to be reasonably well cleaned already.
To remove the rich patina would spoil it.
It would not have any real numismatic value, due to in ground burial corrosion, and pre burial wear.
But that is not what metal detecting is about.
It is quite a nice detector find, anyway.
Australian detectorists are much more pragmatic, and less numismatic. They prefer to go after natural gold nuggets.
