coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/20/2019 10:55 pm Actually this is extreme die wear and Progressive Indirect Design Transfer. Not a premium for either, but everyone saves one for educational purposes. The 50's wheat cents were used beyond normal retirement. Thus why the coins from that time period look so bad..
