So very sad for you. I think I saw your kitty in our show us your pets thread a year or so ago. It is so very hard to go through this time. We pet lovers here share your pain. |

I'm late in seeing this, but I definitely know what you experienced, if not worse. It's always gonna be tough, but 12 years is a good time with a cat. They are a special kind of companion, that's for sure, and it's irreplaceable. That doesn't mean a new chapter can't start. Have you thought of adopting another?

Nice to see so many of us share your sorrow,. It really is. Our Ellie cat is about twelve years old, and has been such a joy for all of us. She is a constant companion to our special needs daughter, Time for us to find another kitty to join our family, now.

I've been looking after two lovely cats for the past six months while their owners were in temporary accommodation: they have finally found a suitable house, and I give the cats back today! It will be quite a wrench!   Edited by NumisRob
