Quote: The on-screen renderings remind me of a cheap fridge magnet set that tourists would pick up while in Canada! Agree! .... and almost $2000.00 worth of cheap fridge magnets. Lucky for me my fridge is Stainless Steel.LOL

The " Peace dollars" in gold and silver--are these both 1 oz? $129 seems higher than normal for a "standard" silver 1 oz coin (non-colorized/plated/etc).

The gold version is a one-ounce coin (31.15 grams), but the silver coin is less than an ounce - 30.76 grams. The cost for the silver dollar is driven by its high relief; the price is actually lower than previous high-relief SDs ($129.95 vs. $139.95).

Just noticed the edge difference between silver and gold Peace dollar coins. Silver edge: plain with edge lettering Gold edge: interrupted serrations I much prefer serrated edges though... Anyone knows why the difference?

Sadly, I feel like I cannot justify the high price for this coin, which is too bad because it is a nice looking piece. But I guess the same can be said about most RCM products and also some other mints out there. I hope the market forces will eventually drive the mint's prices on NCLT down if demand drops but I don't see this happening anytime soon...

Just noticed that the Pure Silver 6-Coin Subscription - Real Shapes - Mintage: 1,200 (2020) has been sold out. Either people love fridge magnet trinkets or which I believe that they aren't moving fast enough, so Steven Bromberg has them to sell on the next coin show on TSC.

My order is in for one of the silver Peace dollars; I need to keep my 36 mm SD set complete after all! I believe the Lady Peace portrait was very well done by Susan Taylor. I have the 2019 Peace and Liberty medal with Taylor's Lady Peace portrait and it is fantastic. I'm looking for more of the same on the 2020 high-relief SD!

When I was ordering my Peace SD, I was told that the RCM has also sold out of its retained supply of the $500 Brilliant Mastery in Canada coin. We'll get a sense of how many have been pre-ordered by dealers once the coins go public next week.

Is it available early for those on the Master Club? I unfortunately also have to buy EVERY silver dollar coin that comes out (along with every Toonie, Loonie, fifty-cent piece, quarter, dime, nickel, and penny)

@atticguy: That's quite a list of "have to buy" coins! The Peace SD is not yet available on the RCM web site to non MC members - I think all of the still available new releases will appear next Tuesday for everyone. I am still a gold MC member, so the new releases were visible to me today. You might try calling the RCM and seeing if the rep you speak with will let you order the coin early. They're not supposed to but some are more flexible than others.

Pure Silver $50 Real Shapes 6 Coin Subscription: They are now for sale on TSC. This is premature as they weren't even released to the general public at the RCM. These are definitely commissioned by Steven Bromberg. Out of 1200 I estimate he received 3 or 4 hundred subscription.

In the brochure I received yesterday, the gold Peace dollar had a mintage of 350. But the RCM website indicates a mintage of 500. It seems RCM increase the mintage by 43% in the last minute, because of...capitalism? I would be more interested, had the mintage been 350. With a mintage of 500, the $2,900 coin may take a while to sell. And I will wait and see.

Who is loading Peace dollars? I think the design is beautiful. Someone here said the word about 'bullion' - so i'll wait. Somehow thought, that out " Peace dollar" has relation to American one, but this isn't truth.
