1974 P Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Small Date, Large Date Reverse

Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5239 Posts	Posted 08/28/2019 2:27 pm Guy's I have no idea why I am so steadfast to find a 1974 small date with a large date reverse. Curiosity I guess to see if there is such a thing. I was dead wrong on the last one I posted and when Stoneman asked for more pics I saw what I missed not surprisingly. I have this 1974 P LMC small date and I am pretty sure that this thing has a large date reverse. Several things lead me to believe that it does. The double lines beneath Lincoln's feet that extend from pillar to pillar, The line at the base extends out past the base, the area directly above both knees are identical, the legs are identical. Guys, am I crazy to think this could exist or is this common or do I just need to give up this fight? The last pic was borrowed from Mr. Coop of the large date reverse. Like is there one that has a premium? I also have noticed over the years that sometimes the obv doesn't match the normal rev and vise-versa. I think coop did a post on this awhile back. John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 08/29/2019 04:58 am Example:1974-D large date has the thicker 19 and the tuft of hair right on top of Lincolns' head and on the reverse there will be horizontal lines on the base below Lincolns' feet.
