*** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***Hello, I'm new to coin collecting and this site and looking for some help. I have a 1951 D Wheat penny that appears to have doubling on the date, mint mark, and back of coin. Is this coin a double die, and what range of value would this be? Thank you all in advance for any help!

@qt2000, first welcome to ccf. Second, are you sure that it isn't glare that is looking like doubling?

Thank you for the welcome to ccf. Maybe it is, I'm not quite sure....I ordered a magnifier that I'm waiting on to arrive which should help me figure it out. Thanks for the reply Spence

If there is doubling on the date, your pic is not pulling it up. to the CCF!

From the pictures in the link you sent, that's exactly what it looks like, Machine Doubling. Thanks for the info man I really appreciate that, as I'm new to this. So a double die error would be a doubling of the die on top, versus to the sides of the number, letter, etc?
