I would say an S mint mark that got really beat up. Pic is too blury to tell from my end though.

If you look at the date on a 1910 the 0 is even with the top of the 1.
The 1916 the bottom of the 6 is even with the bottom of the 1.

In my opinion it is a 10-S . The hit above the 0 does not make it look like a 6 . And the MM is so worn that the metal just has that blended in look to it resembling a D .

I think someone a long long time ago was playing with a 1916D trying to get the look of a 1910D. Then when they didn't get the results they were hoping for just spent it..

1916 D. The top of the 6 got hit down by that hit above it folding it into looking like a zero. No doubt in my mind on it.
