Keep in mind that
DDD (Die-Deterioration-Doubling is always on the side that faces the rim. It also affects the fields not the devices. Die wear affect the same direction, but
on the side of the devices towards the rim. What direction is the OP's coin affected? On the opposite side than the rim. So this is
Machine Doubling.
Machine Doubling can affect either side of the coin, but die wear and
DDD is always in the direction of the rim.
Tunnioc's coin is both, strong classic
Machine Doubling and
DDD on the fields and devices near the rim,
in the direction towards the closest rim. (right side of 'E' on "WE".
Here is a good example of
DDD.

Note how the
DDD is seen on the right side of the coin on the date, and left side of the devices on Liberty. (
DDD moves towards the closest rim direction. But also note, What is affected? The device or the field? Note the fields are affect on the
DDD. On die Wear, you see the devices actually moving towards the closest rim:

A doubled die will show spread in the center of the enlarged devices:

Compared with a normal Liberty. Note the spread in the center of the devices. The devices will be enlarged on a doubled die.
