Im going to send it in for grading this week. Looking at it in hand, I really think its a woody but I may be 100% wrong. Id rather be wrong and lose a little money than to be right and never know. Thank yall so much for the help!!

I tend to agree with 52Raymo. The graining should go all the way out to the rim and not stop just shy of it.

If in fact it's real and you have them attributed it, have them identify it on the label. Here are some other examples of improper alloy mix IHC.

I never heard of TPG attributing a Woodie and putting that on the label . Might want to think twice about sending it in , it isn't in the best of condition . Not an MS coin !

Not woody on the label. They might put Improper Alloy Mix on the label, if in fact it is.

Oh yeah I knew that . What professional grading company would be dumb enough to write woody on the label ?

I applaud the OP for submitting it, or we would debate this forever. I'm skeptical, but look forward to the results.

I was wondering who was going to make the joke, the setup was there.

The stuff has been painted on and you can see that the person did a poor job of it. There's two different colors used.
