Friday it was available for few minutes and Saturday less than 1 minute. For Sunday I could not see any sale availability, same for today on Monday.

Thoughts please, we know the COA #s are in random order and not in the order of when "coin" was stamped/minted, however do you think any numbers would hold a premium over another (like ladder notes and ect.) and what about the signed COAs do we know if they were signed in numeric order or random order and how much would a signed COA add..just wondering..

Well, the first 100 certificates were signed by Mint Director Ryder: https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...ollar-debutsThese will carry a huge premium as we're talking 100 out of 30,000. I would also think that 1 carries the highest premium, 2-10ish should still realize more than a 78, for example. How much more? I think that will depend on how many hit the market. But I would think these will realize at least double of what an unsigned one will go for - just my thoughts. Completed auctions on ebay are always a good market indicator. And prices are still on the up as Pinehurst Coins increased from $599 to $649 and now $699. I wonder how many sold their coin to them and will now be .

In addition to the ones that omxfl noted, I think that certificates 2019 and 30000 will command good premiums. I got my order in on Friday, so it will be interesting to see if that correlates to a higher certificate number.

Some collectors may find 7777 worth a little extra. Also isn't number 8 considered good luck in China, so maybe 8888 as well.

Quote: I don't know the criteria for their "1 per household limit" but I have to imagine some people did this wrong and tied up stock that is getting caught and released to new buyers and they won't be getting the multiples they ordered. Count me in as one of those who accidentally double-ordered. The website was crashing so many times I didn't know if my order was processing correctly. I do have a coin being shipped, but I imagine there are many others who double-ordered by accident.

Langfhir, the mint's website didn't catch that you had already placed an order?

Does anyone think the COA would be worth anything alone, without the corresponding coin?

One caveat, I think David Ryder hand signed certificates #1-100 are likely to be worth "something" without the coin for autograph reasons. but I think it adds quite a bit as a set with the coin and matching slabs of the two.
Although, it's a gamble, who knows if you have one or not until you've spent the money on the grading and getting it slabbed already since it has to be submitted in a mint sealed packaging to qualify.
Out of those 100... who know how many people got them and whether or not they even know about them being hand signed or know to get them slabbed and have already opened them, so a matched set with David Ryders signature, graded and slabbed, might be something pretty rare indeed down the road. There's 100 possibilities, but gotta wonder how many of those were opened to look at them and voided PCGS submission rules.
