Quote: They're supposed to prioritize "expedited" though right? If they know it's an express package yes. I am not sure if they will skip all the express to the front or if they do the express first and just still go day by day such as doing the express from Thursday first then then rest of Thursday before repeating the next day. Walkthrough I would imagine get done first regardless of day. It'll be done before Christmas for sure, though it could easily take a couple weeks to get back to you since they ship back registered and who knows how much those will actually move during the holiday shipping season. I really wish they would give the option for USPS priority or Express like PCGS uses, but NGC makes you have a business style shipping account with USPS to do that. Even in the summer they always take about a week or more to get back to me and it drives me up a wall lol. Quote: I thought items getting delivered to PO boxes just got dropped off at the corresponding post office and that was considered "delivered". Am I missing something? There's obviously no PO box big enough to hold their stuff and most of the stuff comes signature required anyways, so it's technically not delivered until their rep shows up and signs for everything.

Most of my NGC shipment arrivals say "At destination facility...Available for pickup" so I would assume they just make daily trips to get stuff...

It's usually once a day in the afternoon where the TPGs pick stuff up after all the mail that is going to get to them for the day has been processed. If they haven't gotten it by now today they won't until Monday

After reading an article, (believe it was from Coin World), the author mentioned he expects this coin to have the same attrition rate (due to poor quality, unsaleable returns, etc...) as the 25th Anniversary set which would bring the total population to around 29,800. Will the final mintage change to reflect the total population or does it stay the same due to the fact that 30k were actually minted even though not all of them are part of the population?

NGC actually has an agreement with USPS where their packages get delivered to NGC's office rather than waiting at a PO Box for NGC to pickup.

It'll only go down if they destroy some of them. Whatever ends up being out in the wild however it was sold will be the final number. If they never destroy it'll stay at 30k.. I can't imagine why anyone would return one, even as a 64 or a details coin it would be worth more than issue price.

In my experience PCGS picks up and signs for mail delivered on Saturdays. I always get the 'delivery attempt' from the USPS when NGC packages arrive on Saturday.

I was looking at the different shades and they are all beautiful, but 1000 words are supposed to be worth a picture, henceforth a picture of the 2019 Silver Eagles.

Quote: hfjacinto, you're missing one. I'm actually missing 2, both W mint. I dont have the W reverse proof from the pride of 2 nations and the regular W proof. I might get the W proof but I'm not paying more than the cost for the W reverse proof, but I don't collect ASE, so it's not an issue :)

Supposedly there's 1 on the way back to the mint because the mint only put their city/state/zip on the shipping label and not their actual address. I'd be shocked if they don't just resell it though

" but I don't collect ASE..." How many of us have said those exact words as the number of ASE's in our collection keeps growing?

Dave, I would do the collection but I have a set limit on what I'll pay and that's why I don't have a 7070 or an ASE collection, the 1995 is way way more than I would ever pay. Yes I could trade one of the reverse proofs for a 1995, but I'm still behind in value so until the 2019 get up to 1995 prices the set is not going to happen ;) and remember I consider there "bullion" coins anything more than a few dollars over the silver content is hard to swallow. But I'm not stupid either if people want to pay more than it costs me doesn't mean I won't get a few
