People are going out of there minds for a $65 coin! So who is actually buying at this time?

I listed mine on ebay a couple days ago and it was bought within minutes by a coin shop in Texas.

COA #16 & ASE (graded) are for sale on the popular auction website. $24.995 is the price.

I wonder if this one sold. Not seeing it anymore. Only found COA # 32 for $21,500.

If the bullion ASE develops a print or spots, then I don't buy from that dealer again.

Milk spots aren't the dealers fault.

The story I'd like to know is how they acquired so many. They sold 4 of them before the coin was even released.

Bought them from other people, same as everyone with multiple.

It's not a $65 coin.

Yes, but they have to sell it, who is the final end consumer?

I'll you $175 for yours then, that's a huge return on your "$65.95" coin. Where should I send my shipping address to complete the transaction?

I never said I was stupid. Its only a $65.95 but if people want to pay $1400 why would I sell it to you. Actually I would probably charge you $1595.95, its just a $65.95 coin that people will glady over pay for. You seem to want one, want to offer me $1595.95 for each one I have?

I'm sure most coin shops have a waiting list for the coin, there are still plenty of people who don't buy online.

Calling it a $69.95 coin is stupid, I'll just leave it at that.

This thread is a lot better without such ignorant comments rearing their head

It did cost me $65.95 if you think it's worth more you can gladly pay more. You must NOT have realized the mint was only selling it for $65.95.Is that why you made an ignorant comment? Just in case you can't find the link

https://catalog.usmint.gov/american...oins#start=1

That's where you could have purchased it for $65.95

I used that link and got it for $65.95. Must be sad you didn't realize that.

I wasn't talking about milk spots, but rather the small black ones that show up on silver coins sometimes. They're often caused by people huffing over the coins, but don't generally show up until sometime later.

Fair enough on after market spots. Depending on how old they are they may have been there before it got to that particular dealer unless they have a lot of them, but you're spot on that many of them treat them rather haphazardly

Whenever I buy a bullion ASE, I keep the receipt

They give you a receipt? Usually I just hand over the cash and they give me the item and that's it. Though most of my purchases are typically on the low end so that may be why.

Just ask for one if they don't. If they still won't something shady is going on and it's time to walk away

I never get a receipt, I don't even want one, otherwise the wife has evidence that the dollar coin I purchased didn't cost a dollar ;)
