 I think folks will certainly reserve judgment until seeing both sides of this. Also, reporting an accurate weight & diameter is important. Lastly, any provenance might play into properly evaluating it.

At first glance it looks like a cast replica. Lots of bubbles around the letters EW.

 to the CCF I suspect that we're seeing a cast replica of a shilling, but better pics will help. The 1960's saw a huge surge in the production of coin and token replicas; this, as Americans took to the road, visiting historic sites and buying souvenirs. BTW, I believe that the New England coinage was the earliest to cite God .... AD DOM, year of our Lord.

Just because its a copy/replica/fake doesn't mean it isn't valuable. Some copies go for thousands. The real question is who made it and when.
