Solid gold toilet worth $1M and titled 'America' stolen

An 18-karat solid gold toilet worth more than $1 million was stolen early Saturday morning from a British palace that was the birthplace of Winston Churchill, police said.

The toilet, an artwork, was reportedly offered at one point by the Guggenheim Museum for the White House.

Ha! If I could steal it, I may too. A toilet named America? That needs to be melted down. Or, they could sell it to Austin Powers.

I suspect that this piece is destined for same fate as the $1 million Canadian gold coin stolen a while back from Germany-the melting pot, if you pardon the pun.
