I found this scanning through some change and have found no other die/cud errors to compare it to. The lightning bolt running through his neck and jaw may be telling but not sure. Looking for some opinions on this sick looking Abe. Thanks!

to CCF...what you got there is zinc rot and a scratch. Some 1982 and all years above cents have a zinc core and are copper plated...when the plating breaks air gets in and causes it to rot...keep looking...spend it and forget it..keep asking, someones always here to help you learn...good luck
