The toning on this one is less than ideal, but what do you think it would grade?

All opinions welcome.

Cheers to the coin community!

I'll cap at F-15. The wear on the reverse is worrisome and denotes a well circulated coin. Still all the coins in this series deserve respect.

On the bubble between F-12 Details and F-15 Details (reverse scratches and environmental).

The top knot has a weak indication of the lines in the lower knot. The ribbon, however, has modest detail. The lower braid shows minimal detail. The lower laurel leaves are blending together. On the other hand, there is about one third of the detail in the hair, separation of the hair from the forehead, and a visible eyebrow. On balance, I could see this one as F-15 Details.

The surface crud on the coin detracts from the appearance. I don't know if this would lift off the coin with an acetone bath, or what might be revealed beneath the crud. The two long scratches on the reverse probably detail the coin, even with the greater latitude usually given to fish scales.
