I thought it was a button, but first side they showed has A visible I _ A __ L and part of a wreath.

@manry, sorry for the late reply, but I've tried to crop, enlarge, and enhance your pics. It seems to be uniface and the fact that it is so perfectly circular makes me wonder if it isn't something other than a coin too.

It appears to be a fouree of maybe a token. I see what looks like the letters PLA on the obverse.
