Ok guys heres one on the bay that I was just browsing '84-S's and looking to see if there were any of the "super-duper" counterfeits for sale, even slabbed. This was after reading the article posted on this forum by NGC about the Super Counterfeit's coming out of China. What do u guys think? I believe I found one. Heres some pics of the actual coin and of the NGC fake in the artice.

Impressive jayyk39 hope you dont pay too much for it. Scary to think sellers photos possibly hide the scar pretty well hopefully the China man who dropped the ball on that die marker doesn't get fired. My thinking on this one is authentic though or atleast not the super fake you are after there seems to possibly be a slight difference between the placement of the 'dimple' on the neck but this is just how I see it. Also maybe you could work on getting your posts up to buy one or trade for one here on the forum from someone who has taken a loss on these instead of putting more money in the hands of a seller on ebay.
Sorry date and position looks the same to me picture of the reverse with mm possible or someone to do an overlay.jayyk39 has opened a can of worms I am thinking. Is is possible to look it up by cert. Number to see if picture matches?

They are not the same. Many markers vary.

Not the same obverse die as the counterfeit, date position is different as @dave700x noted. Appears genuine to me.

I was a little too brief in my reply above. I did find the ebay listing and it is an authentic Morgan dollar graded by PCGS in my opinion. That so called super counterfeit would never fool a seasoned Morgan dollar VAM collector.
