Any of you know what caused this?
Looks like letters between the motto and rim but I can't figure out what part of the reverse it would be.

Some clash on reverse as well, bay2 and bay3, though not strong

Minor die clash on the reverse and worn die on the obverse.

Obverse looks like it had a minor tilt of the die and there was a fin on the edge of the coin. But when the coins are rolled it often flattens the rim. (No premium for them after that happens)

Pulled this one from circulation about a month ago and I kept going back to it. Just seemed off to me.

Interesting insight as always. Thanks both of you.
