Correct. Machine Doubling. Note how the devices are reduced in size. If it were a doubled die, then the devices would be enlarged:

Alright, now We're getting somewhere! Just threw me off a bit because first dot () was a little odd but I Figured it was MD, couldn't find anything on VV or anywhere else! Thanks coop!

When looking at variety vista, keep in mind that the 'Description' is the first thing to look at:
1946-LWC--Severe-Mechanical-Doubling?-All-Doubling-Is-To-The-Left?
Note the affected (doubled dies - RPMs) devices. Note that some images are normal. So just the ones on the description are the doubled ones. The other are normal. so if you didn't read the descriptions, and you just compare images, you maybe matching to a normal set of images. (That are often used as markers to compare with) So don't forget the description of the variety.
