Jefferson 5c Coins With Very Different MM Locations Bring A Premium?

I realize that the mint stopped punching the MM on the dye in 1990 and after that it was placed on the hub to produce identical m locations on each coin.

But someone told me to hold on to the post-1990 ones that seemed to have MMs located significantly away from what is considered normal.

Do these type of MMs bring an additional premium?

@mdpmedia, it is my understanding that unless the mintmark is so far away that it is touching some other design element, then there is no added premium. Perhaps another CCF member can refine that understanding...

Spence nailed it. Unless it touches another design element, it's interesting but won't garner better value.
