Second, both of these nickels appear to me to be heavily damaged, such as from spending time on a parking lot. What errors are you seeing with the coins in hand? Norris2510 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 10/01/2019 12:56 pm I agree that it def looks like a abused coin picked up from being outside for years, but this coin has been in a framed retirement gift for my grandpa back in 2005, along with other collective n newly issued 2005 coins of the time. This waz the only coin in the group to blister and deteriorate like u see here... Reminds me of what happens with paint if a oily substance is left on whatever your painting, and doesn't allow the paint to adhere properly.. I'll try to use a better camera and post a better pic..
