Grandfather left me some coins and I have a sneaking suspicion they are all worth more than face value, it's just how he was. Make me work for it or lose it like an idiot m me of thing. Going to try and attach pictures maybe you can tell me what I have.

You have a piece of 90% silver bullion, no numismatic value, but definitely lots of sentimental value.

I think if I squint my eyes I can see the digit "5" as the last number in the date. So, I'd say your coin is either a well worn 1935 or 1945 half dollar that does not have a mint mark.

In that condition it is just a piece of 90% "junk" silver to most collectors.

Sentimental value is priceless!

In today's market, as a silver bullion coin, it's worth about 10x-11x face value .... $5 or so.
