Hello. I've been collecting error coins for about a year. I have a collection started (about 50 coins) but I'm new to this. It is sometimes hard to tell the difference in coin damage and actual errors. I would really appreciate any help. I have some very obvious error coins... but now that I've found them, I have no idea what to do with them.

If coins are dented or bent, or edges are not normal, incuse marks on the fields (99% of the time these are coin damage.
But images would help a lot to see what you have.
If you post a coin, just put one coin per thread.
If you have the same events happening on all 50 coins, then one would all would be needed to be seen.
But if you have different issues, the you could post more of them. best to just do one or two per day.
So we can see what you have.
If others are showing the same thing, then the same information would apply to them.
Often new ones will post too many coins in a single thread, or post the same issues that the information would be the same for those coins.
So take you time with this.

Start off by posting what you think are the most "obvious" ones. That will help you determine if you are on the right track.
