Good Afternoon all,

I inherited this medal among a collection from my grandfather many years ago. However, it is the only one I cannot identify.
Please can you help me?

Many thanks,

@1922, looks naval, but can you please provide a clearer image of the reverse? I can't quite make out the inscription with this pic.

I believe that's the Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Awarded for 15 years of service.

The obverse obviously dates the medal to the reign of George VI ('36 - '52) and the ribbon color indicates it was for service in the Royal Fleet Reserve.

The inscription reads DIUTURNE FIDELIS (Faithful Over Time).

Thank you very much HGK3. The text is very very hard to read on this particular medal which is why I couldn't simply Google it. Also, the ribbon colour is what threw me off also.

Thank you so much mate. Likewise to you Spence.

Take care.
