Hello all!

I just began going through coins recently and haven't found any others quite like this. I am almost certain that this is Machine Doubling, but maybe it's unique too as it seems so heavy and layered. This may be more common than I realize, but as I go through more coins and learn from it, I'll be better able to know fully what I am looking at.

Thanks for any insight!

Lunaricide to CFF!

I am new to identifying ERRORS or VARIETIES.
I have never seen anything like this and it looks too cool.
Nice pictures of the date.

Best guess (even thought it be a generic one) would be die wear.

Very interested to see what the experts say

EDIT: Die Deterioration Doubling more likely

Correct die wear. On the reverse there is coin wrapper damage towards the mid field areas.

Thank you everyone and thanks for the welcomes! I appreciate the help and explanations. I think I'll start a collection of premium, --extra damaged-- coins when I learn something from them so that I have an on-hand reference as I acquire more rolls.

Thanks again!

Interesting die flow lines, from a worn out die.
