2017 P George Rogers Quarter Damage Only On Background

It's hard to make out in the photos because the coin is so shiny. What would cause this? Why aren't the men on the coin smeared as well? In spots near the guys the smears turn..."chunky." Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74818 Posts	Posted 10/09/2019 11:15 pm There's scratches and dings ( PSD) on "GEORGE". EPU also shows Incused Machine Doubling as well.
