It is the same coin I identified for you yesterday:

KINGS OF MACEDON. Perseus (179-168 BC). Ae. Uncertain mint in Macedon.
Obv: Head of the hero Perseus right, wearing winged Phrygian helmet.
Eagle standing left on plough, head right; to left, Nike with wreath and palm.
SNG Alpha Bank 1143.

Any thoughts from folks about whether this coin has bronze disease? @AT, maybe hold this coin separate from the rest of your collection for a little while.

Pretty sure we're looking at Athena in a crested helmet for the obverse and butting bull reverse. I believe it's a 4th century BC AE from Thourioi, Lucania. If you rotate the OP's bottom pic you can see the top of the bull, with tail over its rump. For comparison, OP's coin and pics of the type below.

The two photos look to be of the very same coin
The pic on the right might show it doctored up
The pic on left after it sat in a bath of acetone overnight
Deja vu ?
Something stinks

Bob is right and I was wrong, sorry. Bob L is clearly correct! (Sadly I thought the entire Bull was encrustation!)
