I really have no idea, so want to ask you.
It feels like step. Do you think it is PMD, or this planchet already had peeling damage at the moment of minting that coin?

Other side is quite usual, don't worth attention.
Weight is low - 2.88gr

To me, that looks like an old detached lamination on the rev. For damage, I see a rim ding at 1 o'clock on the rev plus a recent scratch, most likely from a staple when someone was removing this coin from a 2x2 near the date.

Delamination it seems is the verdict is it that obvious. Or could this also possibly be struck through something the way the shield and branches are still there?
