War In The Pacific Quarter Doubled Backpack?

From what I can see it looks like Mechanical Doubling. But, I have some questions about some of the areas that have the doubling. Specifically looking at the areas with arrows pointing to them and the circles around them. I can see some small splits on the back of the helmet(which is circled), a split on the left shoulder and top right portion of the backpack(which is also circled), both have arrows pointing to them. I also would like to ask why the backpack extends below the buttocks in the arrowed picture but not on the last 2 pictures which are of "normal" coins? Thanks and here are pictures!

The combination of two die chips and MD all in the same area looks pretty weird. I'd save it just as an oddity.
