@toar, yes sorry but that "doubling" is just smushed metal from a well-placed hit. As far as I can tell, there are no known RPMs on the '76-D cents.

I am not sure I understand what"smushed metal from a well-placed hit" means. Is that considered PMD?
Correct, variety-vista does not show this, but it did look like some kind of secondary mark, so I was curious.

Yes PMD that's from damage look to the Southeast there are more damage marks on the field
