I do see what appears to be a bulge further down on Lincoln'chest, in the vicinity of his right arm. The edge-on photos appear to show a dent in the coin. The coin has much environmental damage--perhaps having been in the ground/outdoors for a considerable period of time. All-in-all, looks like post mint damage to me. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/27/2019 2:22 pm Coin damage. 99% of the time, if the area in question is incuse on the coin it is usually coin damage. Just 1% of the time, is an error coin is found. Knowing what the the 1% examples are is the clue to searching. Report this Post to the Staff

Beedles Valued Member 79 Posts	Posted 10/27/2019 3:16 pm I can try never did before new to this learning as I go. I bought a $50 microscope that I use but it seems I need better one. Link to how to do that ? if you have or ill try google it. You can see bubble on chest area in first 2 photos and a little when I hold coin side ways.
