I put this penny aside and looked at it more when I got homem. There appears to be an extra pillar or column to the left of the Memorial on the reverse and altogether, I thought this was a weird looking coin. Doubling as well and after some googling, there was a few posts about similar coins like mine. Can anyone tell me what I have here?

The doubled columns your seeing are part of the design. Some are more profound than others. You can always look on CoinFacts.com to see what a normal coin for that year looks like!

Look in between the U and the bottom of the steps on the left. It's like the beginning of an extra building.

@yb, first welcome to CCF. Second, sorry but I'm just not seeing what you are with the coin in hand.

Red lines are scratches from circulation:

The two longest scratches just happen to be parallel and about the correct distance apart, so it looks a little like a column.

There are 4 false columns on the memorial device design:

Why are they there. Well it is part of the design and when looking at the building, you can see there are rows columns behind those 4 areas of the building.
