I spotted this in a "junk" silver bin today. The unattractive toning aside, I thought its condition rather a bit too high to have been relegated there.   Colligo ergo sum

Very nice coin and good eye. This definitely does not belong in the silver bin.Last year of this nice looking series and I think its underrated. Easily VF30-35 make sure you check for that bar variety.

Looks like a 1936 zoell's dot dime! Between the second and 3rd bottom left leaf. If that's the case you are a lucky cuss indeed. ef40 is my best guess

I've since closely re-examined this specimen, and sorry to say. no reverse dot(s) and no bar.

Nearly identical obverse design, as for the Australian 1936 Sixpence.
Australian grade? six pearls on the crown band (obv.), qualifies it as good Fine.
