Note really:
1952-D-LWC-Error-Or-Environmental-Damage?
They cancel coin stock so it can be reused as a coin. But instead they are sold for a lot more than face value from the recyclers.

Try soaking it in Acetone for a day, see if there is any change...neat looking cent

Greasy, I thought there was some question about acetone and copper coins? Maybe because of the already extensive damage it does not matter with this one? Just double checking first.
