Petespockets55 Pillar of the Community United States 5797 Posts	Posted 11/03/2019 12:37 pm I won this 1916p WDDR-001 Lincoln Wheat cent recently and wanted to share. It appears to be E-MDS judging by the slight weakness on the front of the vest. http://doubleddie.com/2401958.html It is a fairly strong class 6 with thickness on all the outside devices, including the dots, the top of ONE and Of AMERICA (especially base of E C) The variety wasn't mentioned in the description but at least two other collectors saw it. Just the two denominations that I've noticed) The Quarters also have a strong design. So they may all have that stronger design that year. Report this Post to the Staff

(The extra thickness on the base of the C E of AMERICA is even visible on this variety.) The "Woody" effect was making it somewhat difficult to get clear images. I was fighting haziness that kept affecting the clarity. It appears to be early MDS because I'm not seeing much die wear or flow lines but the light and dark brown might be messing with me.
