It has an indent all around the edge. Almost looks like two dimes were pressed together

The general consensus is the dime has been exposed to an acid. The core is not as resistant to the acid as the clad layers and is eaten away faster.

Another big error that is now part of this coin are fingerprints. While fingerprints are part of everyday handling of coins, any coin you think might be of special interest should be handled with cotton gloves. They are inexpensive and help insulate coins from the oils/acid in your skin.
with the majour acid corrosion this dime has suffered for some other source.
