I found this 2014 Jefferson nickel with a die crack on the left side of bust that is arcing and almost goes from rim to rim was wondering if this is a precud in the making, thank you for any information

Yes,almost a pre-cud but only if it actually turns into a Cud.

At this point, I just see a die crack. Probably soon after this the die crack may reach the other rim, making it a rim to rim crack. Then when that area loosens a bit, then it could develop in to into a Retained Cud. When it breaks off the die, then it would be a Cud. So it is just beginning the process.
