Looks like a DDO on the 9 of the date...But, since I am usually wrong, can you tell me why it isn't(could be a die chip)? Not meaning to sound bad...just trying to learn. The last pic is to show that it is just discoloration and not metal under the area in question. Thanks for your opinions/input!

I was referring to the top inside of the 9....could be a die chip, but it looked curved(similar to the shape of a 9),and not so "blobby". And as it did not make the devices any smaller(and seems a little raised, as opposed to shelf-like), I did not think it was MD. Oh well......

Then it is probably an air bubble or a split plating issue. If it were hub doubling, other devices would have also been affected.

Note on this doubled die how other devices were affected. I would expect to see more than one area affected if it were hub doubling.
