Just had this coin come through our cashiers at a casino in Arkansas. Had never seen one before so I bought it to take home and google it. Has quite a bit of weight to it. This was on 11/08/2019 around 3ish in the morning. After speaking to the cashiers, we have apparently been getting several really old coins over the past week of a sudden.

You have yourself a counterfeit Morgan. No Morgan dollars were minted in Carson City from 1886-1888.

it's a fake. Did someone use this in a game at the casino?
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

It appears to be a fake as none were minted at Carson City that year. There was a three year lull from 86 through 88

Do the machines still have coin slots? Last casino I was in in Atlantic City they had bill slots and spit out a voucher when you cash out.

Most likely taken as a tip by a cocktail waitress on the floor.
