Did anybody have a Joke more or a real Idea?

I have found it here in my town,i know 0nce an Roman Kastell was stand here and I think that it wasnt a small ones...may I should get an metalldetector and Go on looking for more? I am very thankfull for every answer...

Hi Petrified terra,

I really thought that someone would have posted something by now.

Unfortunately, I can't identify your coin. But posting to your thread again will bump it back onto the "recent topics". Hopefully the right people will see it.

It Would be helpful if you would post a picture of the other side of the coin along with the weight and diameter.

P.S. If there were any Roman ruins around me, I would definitely search them with a metal detector.

I'm not seeing any evidence right now that it is an actual coin. Not every round piece of metal is a coin. It might be a piece of scrap metal, or piece of debris from some industrial process or a more modern war. Without knowing the historical context of the artifact, it's impossible to make an informed guess.

This is an interesting piece, but I'm not sure that there is enough remaining detail for us to tell you too much. In addition to posting a pic of the other side and the weight, cab you please confirm that this is not attracted to a magnet? I can't tell if the allot is rusty iron or copper from this picture.
