Found this today at a store while a man cashed in a bunch of change : 1975- 76 s Kennedy half dollar , 2016 s state park quarter , and this 61 nickle. In good same for its age

@Lc2424, sounds like some neat pick-ups. For this nickel, the weight is within mint spec and I agree with @coop that the color most likely comes from environmental exposure. I'd probably spend this one.
