biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 01/26/2006 11:40 am If I remember correctly, 3 fully visible letters gets you a VG8. $24 is probably an ok price for one in Fine-12/15 (Liberty completely visible) condition but it is high for VG8. We only have one coin dealer around here and they are even worse than ebay not to mention it looks like a junk yard in the store. Oh well, I will just keep looking. All in all a nice looking coin that has seen many useful years of service. The Barber series coins are very hot. Prices are definitely on the rise! Mike Report this Post to the Staff

While I think $24 is a little high for this coin, I think the time is coming when that won't be completely out of range. JMHO. Report this Post to the Staff
