Hello
I am new here and new to coin roll hunting. I found these pitted pennies. An 83 and a 84. Is this the result of some kids science experiment or perhaps I found something special? More importantly to me is are they worth more than face value. Thanks for the help.

Yep, they either are showing Die Deterioration or a common plating issue. Either way, they are spendable.
