Not a doubled ear,type double ear in the search box upper left of page. Not sure what it is,maybe MD? Maybe die abrasion?

OK, thanks. If you get this what is going on here? I posted before and someone told me PMD but what looks to be 2 xtra eyes seem to be level with each other

It is an over polishing issue of the die. Keep in mind the back of the head will have the base sticking out on that area from a clash:

When they are removing the clash on that area, the ear area (deeper incuse into the die void) the polishing removed just a bit of the outline of the ear. That slight reduction reduced that edge. Now that that area was thinned, on every cent after this event, it will show a light raised area, just like your coin shows. It is a die event, not a doubled die. If it were a doubled die, then it would be raised up to the level of the year. On all the doubled ears, the affected area is raised. Enlarge this next image and you will see that is the case on all of these doubled ears:

It is just from a normal die with a polishing event that happened to the die.

I agree, he's got his photo editing software down pat. What about my 2 xtra (eyes) on the photo above? I already posted a ago and got PMD back which I don't buy

IMO, bridge of the nose just took a hit and the temple area looks like staining or the beginning of rot...both PMDamage
