came across this 1983 LMC with die clash remnants, can still see the Y from LIBERTY in bay two and all throughout the bays.

It is a very minor die clash,a spender in my opinion.

Actually that is the 'Y' on Liberty on the reverse:

This type of clash is not seen as often. So it my be a discussion point with a new collector. (also save the image I posted to show what it is. (Save the images for your private educational files)

I for one see them a lot. I just saw two yesterday roll searching and rerolled them. Less seen are the ones with the T & Y.

The most common is the shoulder ones on bay 3. The second common ones is the jaw on bay 8 & 9. Then the outline of the head is the third common. But I still feel the Liberty ones are the least common.

I have to agree with coop here, because I have gone through many cents while CRH and only found two with remnants of the word LIBERTY.
